Wi-Fi Networks

We offer procurement, installation and (re-)configuration services for Wi-Fi networks to home, office, meeting places, etc., including:

• (re-) positioning and set-up of consumer routers, Wi-Fi access points, Wi-Fi extenders and 'power line' ethernet adapters, to maximise the coverage available. 

• secure configuration.

• assistance to installation of additional ethernet network cabling to locate the access points to provide the best coverage and performance.

• installation of Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) services, using NetGear hub switches and Wi-Fi access points (WAPs) - this greatly simplifies the cabling requirement for the WAPs as you do not need to locate close to a power outlet.  Note that this requires CAT-6 ethernet cabling.

If new ethernet cabling is required, we work with reputable cabling experts enabling you to extend your network coverage to new parts of your building.

We can also assist in the the selection of alternative broad-band providers, or where an additional broadband supplier may be suitable - for example, to separate your business from your public/customer Wi-Fi service with differing broadband requirements.

If required, our service includes the provision of a network design document, detailing all of the network components, the connections between them and their configuration for you to retain for future reference.
