Disposal

• Do you have an old Mac that has reached the end of its life and you are worried about information or files stored on it getting into unscrupulous hands?

• Have you upgraded to a newer Mac and wish your old Mac to be passed to someone in need?

I offer a service to remove the storage and permanently destroy it, disposing at the local recycling center.  

If the storage device is removable, this may be returned to you in a USB case so you can re-use it as additional external storage or a back-up device.

Alternatively, if the machine has some life left in it but is not sellable, where possible I do refurbish such machines and donate them to local Bristol charities. I would permanently erase the storage using secure data wiping tools before recommissioning.
